monkees album discographyThe Monkees were one of the biggest selling pop groups in the late 1960’s, driven in part by an immensely popular television show starring the members of the group.  Many people discounted them as a real “group” because initially they did not play their own instruments or write their own songs.  That changed over time and the group tried mightily to get past that reputation.  In retrospect, if you just listen to the music, overlooking who might or might not be playing or singing, the tunes hold up surprisingly well.  I believe their music deserves a good listen.  So, here’s The Monkees album discography.
